At a team meeting we talked about the saying, “All you need is love.” Is that really all you need? What about everything else? And what if you don’t have someone or something to love? Then what?
We then went on to talk about Aveda founder Horst Rechelbacher’s philosophy that there’s already love in you. That you are love. He said, “Don’t look for love. Just be it. Just be.”
Maybe love is your foundation. When you love yourself, you choose loving things for yourself, you attract loving things, and you are love to those around you. Maybe love is how you get to where you want to go, and be who you want to be. Maybe love is happiness and all you need to get everything you deserve.
And if you are love – maybe “all you need is love” is like saying, “all you need is you” to get started.
