When you get a haircut you don’t like

How boring would a movie be if at the moment the characters ran into a conflict, they did nothing? Like, yeah no, that looks hard, I’m just going to go home.
After I got my Amelia Bedilia haircut and locked myself in my room, what did I do next? Truth is, I didn’t even know what my options were. All I knew is that my hair was too short and you can’t glue it back on, so what’s the use.
-I didn’t want to have to explain or defend my feelings
-or be met with “that’s not our policy”
-or feel like my words didn’t matter
It felt impossible.
The way I saw it, I can either:
-keep going to the same stylist and never say anything about it
-or go somewhere else and try a different stylist
-and carry the pain with me forever in silence
But here’s what I learned:
-stylists WANT the opportunity to fix it
-they WANT you to feel on top of the world
-they WANT to be a part of your success story
In the movies, even at the moment when all seems impossible, it’s never the end of the story. There’s always a conflict smack dab in the middle and you’re like how in the world are they going to overcome this?! But in the end it always works out and you’re like this is the best movie ever!
-it’s the best because they didn’t give up
-they got the good they deserved
-and won
So if you think you’re at the end of your story, it might just be the part where it starts to get really good.
